How to set the password 

1. Enter the current password (the default is 0000) and open the safe's door.
2. Press the "*" key.
3. Enter the new 4-digit password within 15 seconds, and then press "#" to confirm the new password.

Note: If the new password is not entered within 15 seconds, the program will stop and must be restarted. 

1. Release the "*" button and close the door. Enter your current password and open the door.
2. Push the switch (back of the door) left or right to set the beeping or voice mode and close the safe cabinet door. Now set a new password.

If you forget the password, you can take out the battery and let it sit for some time to restore the factory settings.
